This splendid, entirely flat route runs along the blue stretch of water, starting from the Sperone Beach south of Riva del Garda, touching the foot of Monte Brione, until it reaches the picturesque center of Torbole sul Garda. It is the perfect itinerary for families and for anyone who wants a regenerating ride caressed by the Ora, the famous wind of the lake.
Note of future beauty: This wonderful stretch is part of the grandiose project of the Garda Cycle Route (Garda by Bike), the complete ring that will surround the entire lake. The work is currently under construction, and spectacular new sections suspended between rock and water will open shortly, promising an unique experience in the world.
- The Sarca Cycle Path: Riva del Garda – Arco – Dro
A journey that winds inland following the course of the Sarca river. Starting from the shores of the lake, the cycle path heads north surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and majestic rock faces. A must-see is the elegant town of Arco, dominated by its charming medieval castle perched on the rock. Continuing further north, curious cyclists can go as far as Dro to admire the historic Fies Hydroelectric Power Plant, a splendid example of industrial archaeology now converted into an art center. Pedaling further, it is possible to reach Lake Toblino, featuring a striking castle suspended over the waters of the lake.
- The Water and Land Route: Mori – Torbole (Adige-Garda Cycle Path)
